2009-10 (Junior): Named a WCHA Scholar-Athlete ... Also named to his second straight All-WCHA Academic team ... Recipient of UND's Coaches Unsung Hero Award ... Received UND's Plus/Minus Award after leading the Sioux with a career-high +18 plus/minus rating ... His +8 in road games tied for the team lead with Brad Malone ... Had five assists and a team-leading +8 in seven playoff games ... Was a +19 in 24 games after the Christmas break ... Notched one assist in each of UND's three games and was a +6 in WCHA first round playoff series against Minnesota (March 12-14) ... Scored game-winning goal in 3-2 win over Merrimack (Oct. 10), UND's second game of the year ... Goal was Marto's first career game-winner ... 2007-08 (Freshman): Received UND's Tom Hoghaug Memorial Scholarship, awarded to the freshman hockey player who demonstrates initiative, determination and excitement ... Appeared in 28 games and registered two goals and eight assists ... Owned a +3 plus/minus rating ... Made his collegiate debut in UND's 3-0 win at Northeastern (Oct. 20) ... Collected his first career point with a goal at St. Cloud State (Jan. 4) ... Enjoyed his first multi-point game with a pair of assists in the WCHA Final Five third place game against Colorado College (March 22) ... Scored UND's lone goal in NCAA Frozen Four semifinal against Boston College (Apr. 10) ... Earned first letter.
