2009-10 (Junior): Earned his second straight selection to the All-WCHA Academic team ... Played in a career-high 14 games ... Appeared in his last nine games as a defenseman after spending his entire career as a forward ... Sioux went 7-2-0 during those nine games ... Made his debut on the blueline in final regular season series against Michigan Tech and stayed there for the entire postseason ... Was a +3 in UND's WCHA First Round best-of-three series against Minnesota (March 13-14) ... Was a +2 in the series opener ... Earned his third letter.

2008-09 (Sophomore): Named to All-WCHA Academic team ... Appeared in 10 games and scored two goals, personal highs in both ... Scored his first career goal - the game-winning - in a 3-1 win at then-top-ranked Colorado College (Nov. 7) ... Also scored in a 5-0 win at Michigan Tech (Jan. 17) ... Earned second letter.

2007-08 (Freshman): Named UND's Most Improved Player ... Appeared in five games ... Made his collegiate debut on Nov. 30 at Denver ... Earned first letter.

Before UND: Played the previous three seasons in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL), tallying 145 points (55g, 90a) in 172 games ... Spent his first year-and-a-half with the Winnipeg Saints before getting traded to the Neepawa Natives in November 2005 ... Led Neepawa in scoring in 2006-07 with 79 points (36 goals, 43 assists) in the regular season ... Scored 22 PPG that season ... Had 15 points (6g, 9a) in 13 playoff games in 2006-07 ... Played in his first MJHL All-Star Game as a member of the Sher-Wood Division ... A 2004 graduate of Morden Collegiate Institute (MCI) in Morden, Manitoba ... Also played golf, badminton and basketball in high school and was on the Honor Roll his last two years.
